What we are doing
Projects supported by BCDT become subgroups and sit under the umbrella of the Trust each with their own group of volunteers. The Trust also offer subgroups some staff support to help overcome barriers, secure resources they need, connect up with other organisations and celebrate their achievements.

Zero Carbon Burntisland/Climate Cafe
This event runs monthly on the second Thursday of the month at 6.00pm in the summer months and 6.30pm in the winter.

Burntisland Biodiversity Group
Emerging from the Climate Cafe, this group is in discussion with Fife Council to reduce pesticide use in and around the town and enhance habitats for biodiversity.
If you want to be part of the change you want to see then why not come to one of our beach cleans?

Burntisland Harbour Access Trust (BHAT)
Although not a subgroup as such, BCDT gives BHAT its full support. The Trust was established in 2021 to help regain and secure public access to our historic harbour and transform it into a community asset for the future of Burntisland.
